Description

The Village Pound is a cattle pound constructed from ironstone rubble, featuring brick quoins and end piers, with a round rubblestone coping. It has walls that form a rectangular plan measuring approximately 18 feet by 12 feet and standing 4 feet high. The entrance faces the street. The structure was restored in the 20th century and is included for its group value as part of the village scene.
