Description

Haven Cottage and The Cottage comprise a pair of cottages dating back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The cottages have a timber frame on a rendered plinth, with the rendered cladding having a colourwashed finish. The roofs are covered in plain tiles, and the left-hand gable features wavy bargeboards beneath a spiked finial. The façade is divided into two storeys, with a plat band marking the ground floor level. A triple corbelled stack is located to the right of the centre. There are two three-light casement windows on the first floor, and two ground floor sash angle bay windows with curved bases. A panelled door is situated on the left-hand side, leading to The Cottage, while a half-glazed door is on the right, for Haven Cottage.
