Description
Church Farm House is a house that dates from the 16th century at the rear, with a 19th-century parallel range across the front. The rear features timber framing with brick infill and a plain tiled roof, along with a central ridge stack. The front is constructed of brick, also with a plain tiled roof and end stacks. The building has two storeys, with the front displaying dentilled eaves and casement windows, including three on the first floor. The outer ground floor bays have bow windows under tile roofs. A central brick plaque indicates the date "1857." There is a board and part glazed door located in the left-hand return front.
Inside, the timber frame is visible, and the old exterior walls have been preserved. The interior features stop-chamfered ceiling joists and a deep brick fireplace with a wooden lintel and a bread oven at the rear.
