Description

Orchard Cottage is a cottage situated at right angles to the roadway, dating from the 18th century, with a mid-19th century extension. It features brick walls constructed in Flemish bond, with cambered arches over the openings, a first-floor band on the east gable, and a plinth. The roof is half-hipped and thatched, while the rear wing has a tiled roof. The front, facing north, is one storey and has an attic, with one and a half windows. The windows include casements and one sash, alongside a plain doorway. This building is included for its group value.
