Description

Thatch Cottage is a former pair of cottages, now a single dwelling, dating from the 18th century, early 19th century, and 20th century. The front wall features exposed timber-framing with brick infill, while the east side is constructed of brickwork in Flemish bond with blue headers and cambered openings. The roof is hipped and thatched, with eyebrow dormers, and there is a tiled roof on the west side where a 20th-century garage has been added. The north front has one storey and an attic, with three above six windows. The windows are casements, with one replacing a former doorway, and there is a boarded door in a plain frame.
