Description
The Drift is a cottage, originally a pair, dating from the late 18th century. It features walls of painted brickwork in Flemish bond, with cambered arches on the ground floor, and a small section of flint on the south side. The roof is thatched with a half-hipped design and includes eyebrow dormers. The west front has one storey and an attic, with four windows that are casements. There is a half-glazed door set within a plain cement architrave, while the other doorway has been partially filled in to serve as a window. A plaque inscribed "TE 1764" is also present.
