Description
College Down Farm Cottages are a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of rendered cob, with some areas rebuilt in brick, and feature a thatched roof. The cottages face away from the road and consist of two storeys with three bays. There are doors set within 20th-century lean-to porches made of tiles, brick, and timber on the second bays. Inside, there is a 19th-century two-light casement window immediately within, along with a similar window on the inner bay and a smaller one on the outer bay. The roof has four eyebrow dormers with two-light casements above the inner bays. It is half-hipped and has 18th-century brick stacks at the outer ends of the inner two bays. A brick buttress is located at the left end.
