Description

Ferosa is a pair of cottages, now combined into one, dating from the early 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of rendered cob on a brick plinth, topped with a thatched roof. It is two stories high and has four bays, with outshots at each end. There is a hipped thatch hood supported by posts above a plank door, which has sidelights, located in the left-hand and right-hand bays. The outshots and central bays, as well as the first floor, feature three-light casement windows. The roof is hipped and sweeps down, with a large central chimney stack and an additional stack on the left-hand hip.
