Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It has a timber-frame structure which is now encased in brick, with a colourwashed finish and a high rendered plinth. The roof is thatched. A 19th-century plank door with a small window above is located to the right of centre and features a baffle entry. The windows are 19th-century 2 and 3-light casements with arched heads. Above the bays are three small eyebrow dormers, two of which are in the left bay and have small 2-light casements. The roof is half-hipped with wide hips. A large brick chimney stack is situated to the right of the centre, and another sits on the left hip.
