Description
Linden Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling. It dates from the early 19th century and has undergone minor alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed from coursed squared gritstone, featuring painted stone dressings and quoins. It has a slate roof with brick stacks at the gable ends and stone coped gables that include moulded kneelers. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. In the centre, there is a flush, quoined doorcase with 20th-century glazed doors. On either side of the door, there are glazing bar sash windows set in plain surrounds, and above these, there are two similar windows. This building is included in the register for its group value.
