Description
Ivy Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been converted into one house, dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed from coursed limestone and gritstone rubble, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins. It has a plain tile roof with a stone gable end stack on the south side. The structure is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The entrance features a 20th-century glazed door with a wooden porch above, alongside a blocked flush doorcase to the south. On either side of the entrance are two-light flush mullion windows, and there are two similar windows above, all fitted with 20th-century top hung casements.
