Description
The western gatepiers and gates to All Saints Churchyard date from the mid-18th century, with the gates added in the late 19th century. They are constructed from gritstone and iron. The gatepiers are three square structures, approximately 8 feet high, featuring moulded cornices and topped with large acorn-shaped finials on moulded bases. Between the two northernmost piers, there is a wide ironwork gate adorned with decorative circles at the base and scrollwork at the top. A side gate, located to the south, is designed in a similar style.
