Description
This is a range of three cottages located 40 metres northwest of The Square House, dating from the late 18th century, with a 19th-century addition at the north end. The cottages are constructed from rubble and coursed rubble limestone, featuring gritstone dressings, quoins, end ridge stacks, and a stone slate roof that is hipped at the north end. The building has an 'L' plan with later extensions at the rear. It stands two storeys high and consists of three bays, each with 2-light flush mullion windows and four-pane casements. The central window has been altered. There are two doorways with massive surrounds and planked doors. The north elevation features two windows with flush mullions and two doorways with stone surrounds, one of which has been blocked to create a window.
