Description
This is a row of three cottages located at a right angle to Wood Lane in Chippenham, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone rubble with freestone quoins and dressings, topped with a hipped stone slate roof and featuring brick stacks on the party walls. The cottages have a two-unit plan and stand two storeys high, each with a two-window range. They are fitted with 6/6-pane sash windows. The cottages have 20th-century planked doors set in chamfered architraves, with two-light stone-mullioned windows to the left and single-light windows to the right. The right side of the building, which faces Wood Lane, has one window on each floor toward the front. The interior has not been inspected.
