Description
A row of three cottages located at a right angle to Bristol Road, dating from the mid-19th century in Chippenham. The cottages are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with freestone quoins, and have a slate roof with brick stacks to the left gable end, rear, and the right party wall. Each cottage has a 2-unit plan. The exterior is two stories high, with each cottage originally featuring a 2-window range. The windows are primarily 2-light casements from the 19th century, although some have been replaced with 20th-century single-light windows. Various 20th-century porches have been added. The cottage on the left features a single-storey, 19th-century lean-to with a brick stack to the left. The cottage on the right is situated at a slightly lower level. The interiors have not been inspected.
