Description
Grove Cottages, originally three cottages but now two, date from the early to mid 19th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble stone and feature a hipped Cotswold stone slate roof with a central stone ridge stack. The main range has a lower rear range and stands two storeys tall. The street-facing elevation to the west includes three windows with large lintels and quoins. These windows are 2-light, ogee-headed leaded casements with stone mullions, each set under a square hoodmould. The central window is blocked, as is the original door to the third cottage located directly below it. The ground floor has two windows in the same style, while both the north and south elevations feature two first floor windows and entrance doors, all consistent in design.
