Description

RODMARTON A433 ST 99 NW at NGR 92749642 (south side) 6/127 Milestone II Milestone. Probably mid/late C18, Bath to Cirencester road turnpiked 1743. Single stone slab set into drystone wall, about 0.6m high, with attached iron plate painted white and embossed black lettering. Inscription reads "VII/To CIRENCESTER/III/To TETBURY/XXVI/To BATH".
