Milestone. Probably mid/late C18, Bath to Cirencester road turnpiked in 1743. Single rounded stone slab about 0.5m high, with attached iron plate painted white and embossed black lettering. Inscription reads "XVII / To CIRENCESTER / VII / To TETBURY / XVI / To BATH".

The asset was previously listed twice also under entry 1156192. This entry was removed from the List on 21st October 2015.
