Description

Townsend is an early to mid-18th century semi-detached house in Ashley Culverton. It is constructed of coursed rubble stone with a stone slate roof and stone end stacks. The main part of the house is a single-range, two-storey and attic composition with a catslide roof to the rear. It has three windows: the windows are 3/2/3-light, chamfered stone mullions with square hoodmolds over the ground-floor windows flanking a central doorway. The doorway features a 20th-century glazed door and a gabled porch. A single-range wing to the right contains double doors providing access to a garage.
