Description
The Old Vicarage is an early 18th-century detached house. It is constructed of random coursed rubble stone, with a stone slate roof and brick end stacks. The main section is a single front range of two storeys and an attic. A two-storey rear wing, faced in roughcast, was added in the 19th century, along with a smaller single-storey wing to the left and a projecting forward section.
The front of the house has three windows, featuring 2-light wooden mullion and transom windows with straight stone voussoir heads. Two similar windows flank a central gabled porch hood, which contains early 20th-century double doors. There are three small gabled dormers in the roof, with tile-hung gables and small paired casement windows. Internal wooden shutters are present on the ground floor windows at the front.
