Description
The gazebo at Little Atkyns is an early to mid 18th century structure made of coursed and dressed stone, situated on a base plinth at the water level of the River Churn. It features a hipped stone slate roof topped with a ball finial and has an ashlar stack with an offset and moulded cornice on the southeast side. The gazebo is small and octagonal, integrated into the garden wall and overlooking the River Churn. It has three 12-pane sash windows with plain stone surrounds and internal shutters, as well as a half-glazed door on the north side, likely with steps leading up to it. At the time of the survey in July 1985, a complete external view of the gazebo was not accessible.
