Description

The bridge over the River Churn is a road bridge located in South Cerney, likely built in the 18th century. It features coursed and dressed stone below the plinth, with an ashlar wall and outward sloping coping, reaching a total height of about 1 meter. The bridge has a double span with low arches, which include keystones on the east side. The road known as Bow-Wow intersects the bridge at its center on the east side, and the structure extends approximately 2 meters on either side of the road to square end piers. The total length of the bridge is about 22 meters, and it is approximately 10 meters wide at the center.
