Description
This is a house located at 23 Culver Gardens, dating from the 18th century, with 19th-century stacks. It is constructed of limestone rubble with dressings, which was formerly limewashed, and features brick ridge and rear gable stacks along with an interlocking tile roof. The house has a two-room plan and is a single storey with an attic and basement, presenting a one-window range. The south entrance gable has cambered heads to a left-hand doorway and 19th-century horned sash windows. The northeast elevation includes a right-hand ground-floor window and a 20th-century gabled dormer above, along with a rear 19th-century rendered outshut to the gable. The interior has not been inspected. Historically, this building was the coachman's house for Culver House.
