Description

Tor Farmhouse is a 19th-century farmhouse built of limestone rubble with gritstone dressings. It features flat coped gables, plain kneelers, and a moulded eaves band. The building has an end ridge stack, each with three linked chimneys set diagonally, and is covered with concrete tiles. The farmhouse has an 'L' plan and is two storeys high with three bays. The windows, which were originally fitted with glazing bar sashes, now have 20th-century joinery set into stone surrounds. The ground floor windows and the centrally located doorway, which is massively quoined, have hood moulds and stops, and the doorway features a 20th-century glazed door.
