Description
Ashes Farmhouse is an early 19th-century building that was originally two farmhouses converted into one. It is constructed from coursed gritstone with flush dressings and features a stone slate roof, along with stone gable end and ridge stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys tall.
On the south elevation, there are two 19th-century glazed and panelled doors, each set within a flush surround doorcase that has moulded capitals and lintels. Flanking each door are three-light flush mullion windows, and above them are four similar windows. Additionally, there is a single light window located above the western door. The windows are fitted with plain sashes.
