Description

This is a barn located to the west of Coldwell Clough Farmhouse, dated 1808. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a stone slate roof. The east elevation features a wide depressed arch with a quoined surround and a keystone inscribed with the date '1808'. There are large double doors and regularly placed ventilation slits. At the rear, there is a narrow doorcase with a large shouldered lintel. This barn is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
