Description

This is a barn located to the southeast of Brough House, built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble gritstone, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins, and has a stone slate roof. The barn is two storeys high. The south elevation includes a central cart entrance with a segmental arch made of ashlar voussoirs and quoins, along with plank doors. There are doorways on each side of the entrance, each with a lintel and quoins. Above these, there are two square openings that have ashlar lintels, sills, and quoins. The barn is listed for its group value only.
