Description

This is a late 18th-century barn located east of the Old Farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with large quoins and gritstone dressings. The roof is covered in stone slate. The west-facing elevation features a central doorcase with a shouldered lintel and quoined surround, along with regularly spaced ventilation slits. The barn is included on the heritage listing primarily for its group value within the surrounding historic landscape.
