Description
This barn, located to the east of Old Hall Farmhouse, dates from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped by a slate roof featuring stone coped gables and plain kneelers. The barn is two storeys high and consists of a single bay. The south gable wall, which faces the farmyard, has a flight of steps leading up to a first-floor doorcase that is flush quoined. To the west of this doorcase is another flush quoined doorcase with a plank door. The west wall has a blocked window opening. This barn is included in the listing for its group value with the farmhouse.
