Description

This building is a barn located to the northwest of Old Hall Farmhouse, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and features quoins and a concrete tiled roof. The barn has a T-plan layout, with two storeys at the east end and a single storey at the west end. There are three quoined doorways with heavy lintels and two openings on the first floor, one of which is a taking-in door and the other is glazed. The barn is listed for its group value context.
