Description
The Vicarage is a vicarage building dating from the late 18th century, with additions and alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble limestone, with a roughcast finish on the garden front and gritstone dressings. The building features rusticated quoins, a moulded eaves band, and end ridge stacks, one of which is made of ashlar. The roof is slated.
The structure is two storeys high and has three bays. Originally, it had glazing bar sashes in plain stone surrounds, but it now features a tall canted bay window in the centre with plain sashes, along with similar windows on the ground and first floors to the right side. There is a 20th-century single-storey porch with a glazed door attached to the east gable end. The Vicarage is listed for its group value only.
