Description
Chapelsteads Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse located in the parish of Wormhill. It is constructed of roughcast stone with gritstone dressings and features plain gables along with intermediate and end ridge stacks. The roof is made of stone slates and plain tiles. The building has two storeys and three bays. Originally, it had 2-light flush mullioned windows, but two of the first-floor windows now have two additional lights added in the 20th century. The farmhouse also includes 19th-century glazing bar sashes and casements. There is a doorway in the western bay that has a plain stone surround and a planked door.
