Description
High Nightam is a house dating from the late 18th century, which was restored in 1983. It is constructed of coursed gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a stone slate roof with stone gable end stacks. The east elevation, which faces the garden, has a door that is covered by a 20th-century stone porch with a wooden roof. On the north side, there is a three-light flush mullion window, while the south side has a 20th-century window set in an 18th-century opening. Above the north window, there is a similar window, and above the south side, there is another 20th-century window. At the eaves, there are two three-light flush mullion windows. The rear elevation facing the road includes a three-light flush mullion window located near the base of the wall on the north side. All the windows feature 20th-century casements.
