Description
This is an outbuilding located to the southwest of Coldwell Clough Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed gritstone rubble with massive gritstone dressings and quoins. The roof, made of stone slate, is now partly collapsed. The building has two storeys and features three doorways with large imposts on the south side, while the north side has a later doorcase with jambs. Above two of the openings, there is one with a central flush mullion. The south gable wall has a plaque inscribed 'EBE 17??', and the north gable wall has steps leading up to the loft. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
