Description
Sitch Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed gritstone with flush dressings. It features a slate roof with a stone ridge and has brick stacks at the gable ends and ridge. The building has three storeys and a three-window front. On the southeast elevation, there is an inserted doorcase on the west side with a glazed panelled door. To the east, there is a 2-light flush mullion window with 20th-century casements, alongside a blocked doorway with a visible lintel and a 19th-century window featuring a glazing bar sash. Above, there are three 2-light flush mullion windows with 20th-century casements, and three similar windows are located at the eaves.
