Description

This is a well located to the west of Forge Cottage, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone rubble with rock-faced limestone dressings. The well features rusticated piers with rectangular imposts that support a semi-circular arch, which has a projecting keystone. Behind the arch, there is a semi-circular niche made of stone. The well stands approximately 6 feet high and is included in the listing for its group value only.
