Description

These are a pair of gate piers located to the southwest of the Lodge, dating from the late 18th century. They are made of dressed gritstone and are square in shape, featuring a plain fillet at the top. The north side of the piers has classical swag decoration on the frieze, and they are capped by a moulded pediment. Each pier stands approximately 8 feet high.
