Description
This pair of gate piers, dating from around 1832, is located approximately 10 metres south of The Lodge. They are constructed from uncoursed stone rubble with ashlar upper sections. Each square pier flanks the drive to Glenthorne. The piers feature a rough-chamfered offset at the base, a moulded string course, and a moulded cap topped with a large carved boar's head finial.
