Description

The wall and gate piers to the northwest of Hopton Manor date from the 18th century. They consist of a rubble limestone wall with gritstone dressings, standing approximately 7 feet high. The wall features moulded copings and two blocked oval panels. To the west, there is a pair of square gate piers that are cut away in a curve above the wall, creating smaller piers with moulded cappings on top. This structure is included for its group value.
