Description

The ice house at Hopton Hall dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of gritstone. It has a circular shape with a domed roof and features a short access passage located halfway up. The overall depth of the ice house is 7.5 meters. Currently, it is in poor condition, with the dome exposed and the access passage partially collapsed.
