Description

Tudor Cottage is a building from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from limestone and gritstone rubble, featuring gritstone quoins and dressings, and has a plain tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The cottage has two storeys. The south elevation has a gable end wall facing the street, which includes a three-light recessed and chamfered mullion window with a drip mould. Above this, there is a similar window. On the east elevation, there is a two-light chamfered mullion window, with a smaller similar window above it, along with a 20th-century addition that is designed in a sympathetic style to the north.
