Description
These are a pair of gate piers dating from around 1830, located at the entrance to The Lodge on Woodstock Road. They are constructed from ashlar and have a square plan. Each pier features waist strings, moulded cornices, and shallow pyramidal caps. The front faces of the piers each have a round-arched recess located below the string. These piers serve as the entrance to the long drive leading to The Lodge.
