Description

Buxton Hall Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse with alterations from the late 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a plain tile roof, stone coped gables, kneelers, and brick ridge and gable end stacks. The south elevation has an irregular arrangement of windows. The first floor features two three-light mullion windows with square section mullions. Below these is a window with a replacement square section mullion set within an early 17th-century moulded surround. To the east is an eight-light mullioned and transomed window.
