Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century and early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and red brick, topped with a tiled roof featuring stone coped gables and brick gable end stacks. The building has stone quoins and a south front made of red brick, which is two and a half storeys tall and double fronted.
The central doorway has a six-panel door, with the top two panels being glazed. This doorway is flanked by single bar sash windows with half side lights. Above, there are two similar windows and two smaller windows above those, which have casements. All openings are plain and feature brick voussoirs, with a smaller blocked opening located above the door. At the rear, there is a projecting full height stair tower made of brick, which has a pitched tile roof and includes a staircase window.
