Description

Sparkbottom Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of coursed gritstone with pointed dressings. It features a slate roof with a stone ridge and bracketed eaves, as well as stone gable end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, presenting a double fronted elevation. The front includes a flush doorcase topped with a bracketed stone hood, leading to a glazed and panelled door. On either side of the door are glazing bar sash windows with wide lintels above. The upper floor has three similar windows, and there are flush mullion windows at the rear.
