Description

Moorside Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage situated in the parish of Kirk Ireton, off Moor Lane. The construction uses coursed squared gritstone, with a plain tiled roof and a brick gable end stack to the west. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. The south front features a central doorway with a stone lintel and a reused 17th-century door. It is flanked on each side by two-light chamfered mullioned windows, with two similar windows above.
