Description

Topshill Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse with later additions. It is constructed from coursed squared gritstone and features a plain tile roof with moulded kneelers. The building has three brick stacks and is two storeys high. Originally, it had three bays, but a fourth bay was added at the west end. The doorway is now off centre and has a massive stone surround. It is flanked by two light windows that are set into flat-faced stone surrounds, featuring mullions and small paned casements. The added bay includes a stone door surround and casement windows.
