Description

Lowfield Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of rendered gritstone. It features coped gables and has both intermediate and gable end ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays, which include 2-light flush mullioned openings and side-hung casements. There is an off-centre doorway that has a massive surround and a panelled door with two glazed lights above. Additionally, there are inserted 19th-century coupled windows on the northeast side, which are fitted with glazing bar sashes. At the centre of the rear elevation, there is a parallel single bay range attached.
