Description

Dale End is a farmhouse dating to 1689. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble gritstone with quoins, featuring plain gables, end and intermediate ridge stacks, and a Welsh slate roof. The building has an "L" shape when viewed from the south elevation. It is two storeys high with three bays, containing 2- and 3-light chamfer mullioned windows with leaded casement frames. There are two doorways; the one at the north-east end has a chamfered quoined surround and lintel inscribed with the date 1689. A later doorway was inserted on the south-west side, featuring a 20th-century glazed door.
