Description
The Church of All Saints is a Grade II listed Classical church built in 1812, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed from regularly coursed gritstone blocks and features coped gables and a Welsh slate roof, comprising a west tower, nave, chancel, south porch, and vestry. The tower has an embattled parapet, crocketed pinnacles, and plain bands. The belfry lights, ground floor tower lights, tower doorway, and two north wall nave windows have semi-circular arched heads with key blocks, while the remaining windows feature Gothic pointed arched 2-light openings, which are contemporary with the south porch added in 1879. The pointed arched east window has intersecting tracery and a hood mould. The vestry on the north wall includes a cast iron window with Gothic glazing bars and a datestone from 1886. Inside, the font is a modern copy of the original, which dates back to around 1200 and is now located in Youlgreave Parish Church.
